np heres a list of questions i use often How do you color? what type of pencil do you use? How do you draw hair without making it look stiff or plain? how do you know where to put clothes wrinkles? how do you draw clothes? how do you draw your male/female eyes? How do you shade? How do you draw hands? How do you draw shoes? how so you draw curls? how do you draw a dress or a simple sketch out of one? how do you usually begin drawing? how do you draw legs?
How do you color? I use colored pencils. I use multiple shades to color, for example when I'm coloring skin, I use peach, different browns etc. Btw, I really need to practice coloring because I'm a noob at it
what type of pencil do you use? I first use a light pencil for a basic sketch. If I want it to be black and white I use a 2B drawing pencil. For coloring I use Faber Castell colored pencils.
How do you draw hair without making it look stiff or plain? Hmm.. well, I don't really know what to say about this. I was horrible at hair and it always looked either "stiff and plain" or overdone and messy. I learned to draw hair basically by observing other artworks and practicing. A few tips I can give are to hold the pencil lightly when drawing hair and make swift strokes.
how do you know where to put clothes wrinkles? Ah, this, I'm looking for an answer to myself I've been neglecting drawing clothes for too long. I guess it's all about observing and practicing.
how do you draw clothes? My answer for this would be the same as the question before this. I mostly first draw the figure and draw the clothes over it.
how do you draw your male/female eyes? If you're asking how I differentiate between male and female eyes, then this is how; female: larger, shinier, rounder and fuller lashes. male: smaller, narrower, a lil' wider and less lashes. I first put a guideline for their placement on the face, and start with their outline. Then I gradually add details.
How do you shade? I think about where there the light would fall more by first considering where the light is coming from.
How do you draw hands? I suck at hands actually, my anatomy skills overall suck xD I sometimes look for refs, or just look at my own hands.
How do you draw shoes? I've hardly drawn shoes. I draw them VERY simple.
how so you draw curls? I actually don't know how to myself I just make wavy lines to make them different from wavy hair. But I guess that's not enough.
how do you draw a dress or a simple sketch out of one? I'm sorry, this question isn't very clear to me.
how do you usually begin drawing? I get sudden urge to draw, I think about the overall arrangement and then start out with a simple sketch.
how do you draw legs? Legs.. hmm.. I draw them lil' thin and long, and sometimes a bit pigeon toed.
Well I hope I helped (though I doubt I actually was helpful ;_ I'm a beginner myself and have a lot to learn. The best advice I can give you is to be observant and just practice. You have no idea how much I've learned by just closely looking at the beautiful artworks by the awesome artists here on DA
